ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Manages the activities, resources and the application of departmental and general Company policies and procedures in the area (including assigned external areas) to assure that: -

2. Directs and co-ordinates a team of hourly shop floor staff to enable the above function to be carried out, and to promote and improve standards of efficiency, productivity, quality and economy, and ensure that all activities are adequately documented.

3. Identify process improvements opportunities to remove bottleneck constraints i.e., invoicing process through multiskilling, cross training, flexing labour and system Improvements.

4. Supports audit and investigation requirements

5. Implements measures for improving productivity and reducing costs; conducts related consultation with employees and trade union representatives as necessary to secure full understanding and support for such measures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minium 2yrs experience within a Warehouse/Logistics function.

• 1 yr+ supervisory experience essential
